Terms & Conditions
All treatments are by appointment only and all courses need to be booked in advance.
When making a booking, you will be sent a booking form to fill in. You will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit. The deposit needs to be paid no later than 48 hours prior to a treatment and 14 days prior to a course.
Failure to pay the deposit and return the booking form may result in your treatment or course place being offered to someone else.
A non-refundable deposit of £20 is required for all Thai Yoga Massage and Shamanic treatments.
A non-refundable deposit of £60 is required for the Shamanic Journeying course.
A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required for a Ritual & Ceremony workshop.
A non-refundable deposit of £200 is required for the non accredited Thai Yoga Massage course and £300 for the accredited Thai Yoga Massage course,
If for any reason Avena ‘Mind & Body’ needs to postpone or cancel a treatment or course, all deposits are transferrable or will be refunded in full.
Full payment is due at the time of a treatment. Full course fees are due 7 days prior to a course. Cash and BACS direct bank transfers, are the only accepted forms of payment.
Avena ‘Mind & Body’ will not accept responsibility to anyone for any accident, or loss or damage to their property, during the running of a course or treatment.
Cancellation Policy & Fees
To avoid paying the full fee – 48 hours notice is required to cancel or change an appointment.
The treatment you choose is reserved especially for you, at the time you booked. Therefore please arrive on time so that you receive your full treatment.
Treatment Recommendations & Obligations
It is advisable to shower, remove all makeup, perfume or aftershave, before coming for a Thai Yoga Massage treatment or course.
It is your duty to inform me about any of the following: any medical conditions, use of medication, skin allergies/reactions, if you have high blood pressure, have a pacemaker, wear contact lenses, you are menstruating, you are pregnant or think you might be.
The treatments that Avena ‘Mind & Body’ offer, do not replace the need to use allopathic medicine. If you are unsure about any of the treatments offered, please contact your GP.
