<\/a>What is Shamanism?<\/span><\/h2>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Shamanism is the oldest spiritual practice known to man. Shamans believe that everything has a spirit. A Shaman mediates between the visible world of form and matter and the invisible worlds of energy and spirits. The Shaman or Shamanic Practitioner’s job is to help restore and maintain balance. You do not need to believe in spirits or Shamanism to receive a Shamanic treatment.<\/p>\n

What is Shamanic Extraction & Healing?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Shamanic healing works on the principle that all illness occurs due to a spiritual imbalance. \u00a0Either something is there that shouldn\u2019t be, or something is missing – often it is both. \u00a0Once identified, the shamanic practitioner can either perform an \u2018extraction\u2019 to remove an \u2018intrusion\u2019 or use \u2018soul retrieval\u2019 to reunite a missing soul part. \u00a0Both practices restore balance and heal the spirit.<\/p>\n

What can I expect?<\/span><\/h2>\n

The shamanic practitioner will talk through what will happen before performing an \u2018extraction\u2019 or \u2018soul retrieval\u2019. \u00a0During the shamanic healing the recipient lies fully clothed on a mat on the floor and is not required to do anything. \u00a0The shamanic practitioner will drum, rattle and journeys to his spirit-helpers, who will resolve the problem. \u00a0Shamanic healing can release emotions and may initially leave you feeling tired.<\/p>\n

What are the benefits of Shamanic Extraction & Healing and what can I use it for?<\/span><\/h2>\n

Through removing intrusions or returning missing soul parts, you are able to feel whole again. \u00a0During the treatment, the shamanic practitioner will find a power animal to protect you. \u00a0Shamanic healing is an excellent way to restore balance to the mind, body and spirit and in so doing, re-establish harmony, health and well-being.<\/p>\n

All treatments are by appointment only and provided by Hagbard. All Avena ‘Mind & Body’ – Treatments – Courses – Workshops – are offered with Metta – love and kindness, through an open heart.<\/p>\n

Monday – Friday 11:00am – 7:00pm<\/span>
\nOccasionally I can offer a treatment outside the above times and over a weekend<\/p>\n
